On Wednesday, May 5, 2021 IRWGS hosted a conversation led by Abigail Ony Nwaohuocha (JRN '15) with Minna Salami, a Nigerian, Finnish and Swedish writer, feminist theorist, researcher, and founder of the award-winning blog MsAfropolitan. Using Salami's newest book, Sensuous Knowledge: A Black Feminist Approach for Everyone as a jumping off point, this discussion explored life though the prism of black feminism and the need for an Africa-centered feminist approach to advocacy.
