Give to the Institute

The Institute for the Study of Sexuality and Gender (ISSG) relies on the generosity of alumni, friends, and others to help support our teaching, research, and new programming initiatives. Since its founding in 1987, the Institute has promoted dynamic undergraduate and graduate training, supported the publication of cutting-edge scholarship, fostered community among students and faculty, and sponsored a wide range of events in Women’s, Gender, Sexuality and Queer Studies at Columbia University. Current use contributions to ISSG help us to support a wide range of initiatives, including our annual programming series, and research support for both undergraduate and graduate students, such as our annual undergraduate Women and Gender Studies Award and the Queer Studies Award.
